HEALTH & SAFETY
|
This product gets Hot during use. Requires the plastic top cap of the product to be placed on the bottom end of the can during the heating process to protect hands and surfaces from the heat. |
| HAZARD CLASSIFICATION |
Non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-combustible. Not classified as dangerous for packing or loading regulations. After use the heating component is inert. However, in the event that the outer container should be ruptured prior to activation dispose of immediately. |
| ACCIDENTAL RELEASE |
Contain spillage and keep dry if possible. Use vacuum suction unit or carefully collect spilled contents and place into a bag. Dispose of all material into the waste container. Try to avoid spillage into drains or watercourses. |
| CHEMICAL REACTION | CaO + H2O = Ca(OH)2 + 15.5 Kcal |
| ENVIRONMENTAL |
The packaging is recyclable or may be disposed of safely via general waste Handling and recycling processes. Spillage can be washed off safely with cold water. |
| COMPOSITION |
Sterile 415g - 425g food can with easy-open top wrapped with a composite aluminum foil water bag positioned in an outer can with a plastic locating and sealing ring and then filled with granular limestone. A seamed end on the outer can completes an airtight construction which is further wrapped with a thermal insulator to protect the user from the heat and further wrapped with a paper label. A metal piercing tool is provided on top of each can and enclosed within a plastic cap. |
